A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made after 33 tries

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and technology seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Big fan of this approach. The social part surprised me too.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I noticed the same thing in Jakarta.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread. This makes me want to look at a map for an hour.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

That is a good boundary.
