Notes from a very normal busy month with Pets without making it complicated

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and care seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The vibe here is immaculate. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Big fan of this approach. My only addition is to make the first step visible. Small progress still counts.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Could be regional too.

@elodie-70 I am stealing that phrase.

Can you share what you tried before this? It sounds small, but the setup matters.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

I think this advice is overrated. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I wanted to like this, but the complicated argument is weak. I learned that one the expensive way.
