Notes from a very normal commute with Parenting with a chaotic constraint

The detail that surprised me was how much my desk changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the tiny repair for a while.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I keep a note about kids for exactly this reason.

I would push back gently on the notes part. That is where the boring checklist helps.
