A surprisingly useful lesson from a tiny balcony from my first week notes
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the conversation for a while.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This reminds me of something a friend in Istanbul mentioned. I am curious whether discussion still feels good next month.

Big fan of this approach. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I noticed the same thing in Madrid.

Big fan of this approach. A little friction removed goes a long way.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. This pairs weirdly well with lentil soup.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.
