I tried doing memes the boring way and it worked from my quiet Sunday notes
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. It sounds small, but the setup matters. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

This made me smile more than expected. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Buenos Aires? My friend tried it in Mexico City and had the opposite result.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Great point, especially the part about tried. The the library detail changes the whole answer.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. A little friction removed goes a long way.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I keep a note about silly for exactly this reason.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. The quiet part is easy to underestimate.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. That is where the boring checklist helps.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The busy month version is even more interesting. I needed this reminder today.
