A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made without making it complicated
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where albums stopped feeling new.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. The social part surprised me too.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The quiet constraint is probably the real story.

Can you share what you tried before this? That is where the boring checklist helps.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

@imogenbakes I needed the reminder to start smaller.

@silver_noodle82 Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. My only addition is to make the first step visible. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

Great point, especially the part about made. I would love to see a follow-up after 6 weeks.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. It sounds small, but the first draft matters.

The vibe here is immaculate. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. Sound design deserves more credit.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. For me it came down to the first draft.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. This pairs weirdly well with jollof rice.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 8 months. The commute version is even more interesting.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about without.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. My friend tried it in Kuala Lumpur and had the opposite result.
