I tried doing manga the boring way and it worked before coffee

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I tried this in Mumbai with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I would push back gently on the manga part.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. The my desk detail changes the whole answer. Backlog guilt is a shared cultural experience.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

The vibe here is immaculate. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

I am cheering for this update. A little friction removed goes a long way.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks. Backlog guilt is a shared cultural experience.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. It sounds small, but the routine matters.

@paolorides Totally agree, especially for beginners.

This made me smile more than expected. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. This is why house rules need a constitution.

You just saved me a bad purchase.
