The small health habit that changed my commute
I tried this in Toronto with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether commute stayed easy. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I am curious whether habits still feels good next month. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

Love the tiny experiment energy. My friend tried it in Cairo and had the opposite result.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Great point, especially the part about commute. I am curious whether mobility still feels good next month. Small progress still counts.
