I tried doing strategy the boring way and it worked without making it complicated

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

The kindness in this post is lovely. I am curious whether cards still feels good next month.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I keep a note about reviews for exactly this reason.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I noticed the same thing in Kuala Lumpur.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

I am skeptical. The idea sounds good, but the maintenance cost is real. The the library detail changes the whole answer.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.
