I tried doing jobs the boring way and it worked in real life

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and workplace seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Noted, and thank you.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Berlin?

Thanks for making it less intimidating.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The lunch break version is even more interesting. Good managers make this conversation so much less weird.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat.

Love the tiny experiment energy. A little friction removed goes a long way.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink tried. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about doing. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.
