I tried doing questions the boring way and it worked for absolute beginners
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. The 10-minute rule is underrated.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day.

I am cheering for this update. For me it came down to the setup.

This reminds me of something a friend in Melbourne mentioned. I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about absolute. The late summer version is even more interesting.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the kitchen.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. The awkward part is easy to underestimate. The follow-through matters more than the perfect plan.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. I needed this reminder today.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I keep a note about advice for exactly this reason. I needed this reminder today.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I am curious whether people still feels good next month.

This reminds me of something a friend in Mumbai mentioned. The the library detail changes the whole answer.
