The most surprising part of learning infosec with a delightful constraint
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the playlist for a while.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. The Cape Town example makes it feel concrete. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The Lagos example makes it feel concrete.

Can you share what you tried before this? That is where the boring checklist helps.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The beautiful constraint is probably the real story. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

Love the tiny experiment energy. The social part surprised me too.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Mexico City? The social part surprised me too. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.
