Explain Like I'm Five · by Aoi Ito · 2026-09-01

Can we talk about the underrated side of learning after 4 tries

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Explain Like I'm Five feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. questions got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I would test it for 2 days before deciding.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. Glad you shared the messy version too.
