A surprisingly useful lesson from my desk before coffee

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. pickup got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more then the perfect plan

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. That is where the boring checklist helps. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

Thanks that actually helped

I found this disappointing becuase it skips the hardest part. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. The best gear is the one that gets used

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The social part surprised me too. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. The cozy part is easy to underestimate

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. This would of saved me a lot of trial and error
