I tried doing therapy the boring way and it worked without making it complicated

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

I started this because my quiet Sunday felt a little stuck, and support seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. That is where the boring checklist helps. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Appreciate the nuance.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. This pairs weirdly well with tacos.
