The small fans habit that changed my lunch break from a tiny balcony

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the recipe for a while.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. tactics got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I wanted to like this, but the small argument is weak. I keep a note about soccer for exactly this reason. Tactics are half the fun when nobody is shouting.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. For me it came down to the setup.
