My 3-month experiment with java from a family dinner

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where learning stopped feeling new.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

The dinner angle is what sold me. The late summer version is even more interesting.

Appreciate the nuance.

Love the tiny experiment energy. That is where the boring checklist helps.

This made me smile more than expected. The cozy part is easy to underestimate.

@lukas-68 That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

@riverPilot9 I would love a follow-up example.

This reminds me of something a friend in Mexico City mentioned. A little friction removed goes a long way. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.

I had the same reaction to something.

The vibe here is immaculate. It sounds small, but the first draft matters.
