The practical joy of doing the playlist badly at first in real life

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. A little friction removed goes a long way. This makes me want to start a weekend project.

Helpful correction.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. I would test it for 10 days before deciding.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. This pairs weirdly well with arepas.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained.

This made me smile more than expected. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. Great use of light and restraint.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. That is where the boring checklist helps.
