A tiny story about sourdough, Berlin and timing

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Great point, especially the part about sourdough. The a neighborhood park detail changes the whole answer. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The busy month version is even more interesting.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Noted, and thank you.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The messy constraint is probably the real story.
