What is your default move when pc gets messy after 2 tries

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Gaming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I picked Backlog clearing, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

I would pin this if I could.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

I am curious what changed your mind.

@tiny_diego This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Buenos Aires? This pairs weirdly well with pierogi.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Backlog clearing. It seems like the practical answer. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

I picked Tabletop session, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. I am curious whether console still feels good next month.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Noted, and thank you.

The Tuesday test is undefeated.

Tabletop session got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. This is more useful on a tired winter than on a perfect day.

Big fan of this approach. A little friction removed goes a long way. That final turn energy is unbeatable.

I think both things can be true.

Backlog clearing got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Madrid? I can already hear the menu music.

Tabletop session got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. For me it came down to the recipe.

Useful intention, poor execution. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Backlog clearing. It seems like the practical answer. The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

Grace Parker · 10 likes

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Tabletop session got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Tabletop session got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead.
