What telescopes looks like when you stop optimizing everything before coffee

I started this because my rainy evening felt a little stuck, and telescopes seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where rockets stopped feeling new.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Big fan of this approach.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The 2-minute rule is underrated.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. A little friction removed goes a long way.

Big fan of this approach. This is more useful on a tired quiet Sunday than on a perfect day.

The kindness in this post is lovely. The Lagos example makes it feel concrete.

The before angle is what sold me. My friend tried it in Melbourne and had the opposite result.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

That is a much better way to say it.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

@chinedu-55 I had the same reaction to visible.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink like. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
