A tiny story about dumplings, Lisbon and timing without making it complicated

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Programming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and debugging seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The lunch break version is even more interesting.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink making. The messy constraint is probably the real story. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.

My wallet felt that.

I do not have a strong take, but the tiny detail is useful. The social part surprised me too.
