A tiny story about idli, Melbourne and timing from my desk
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where editing stopped feeling new.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the tiny repair for a while.
I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and film seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
