The delightful joy of doing the routine badly at first with a messy constraint

The detail that surprised me was how much a neighborhood park changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. That is where the boring checklist helps.

The kindness in this post is lovely. My friend tried it in Toronto and had the opposite result.

Beautifully concise.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. This pairs weirdly well with lentil soup.

Great point, especially the part about badly. I would test it for 8 days before deciding.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

This has cozy competence written all over it. A little friction removed goes a long way.

I am cheering for this update. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. The ambitious part is easy to underestimate.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. The messy part is easy to underestimate.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. I noticed the same thing in Buenos Aires. I would document the agreement in writing.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.
