I finally understand why Curious people care about questions in Manila

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I learned that one the expensive way.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I disagree a bit. people matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library.

I would push back gently on the care part. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. This would be a great classroom example.

There is probably a middle ground here. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. I would test it for 2 days before deciding.

Could be regional too.
