What I wish I knew before trying indie

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and console seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

The detail that surprised me was how much the library changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. That is where the boring checklist helps.

@quiet_mango13 I laughed, but you are not wrong.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Kuala Lumpur? My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. I would write it down before changing anything else.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Yep, the boring details matter.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I learned that one the expensive way.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. This is more useful on a tired winter than on a perfect day.

Good reminder that boring can be good. A little friction removed goes a long way.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The social part surprised me too.
