Ask Orbit · by Ethan Brooks · 2026-10-08
My 9-month experiment with questions in real life
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.
The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Ask Orbit feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. I would write it down before changing anything else. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist?

I would push back gently on the life part. For me it came down to the practice run. I needed this reminder today.
