How would you solve this Monday morning problem with debt as a beginner?
The detail that surprised me was how much my desk changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
I tried this in Buenos Aires with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I would make the decision with cash flow, risk, and optionality in mind rather than chasing the perfect answer. Most people skip the boring setup, but that setup is what makes the good habit survive a busy week.
- Keep one month of expenses visible in your checking buffer.
- Automate savings on payday.
- Avoid any plan you can only follow when life is perfect.
Come back with what happened; the details will make the next answer better.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

Kind of wild how often exactly is the whole issue.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

That should give you a solid first pass.

Run the numbers on a normal month and a bad month. If the plan only works in the normal month, it is probably too fragile. It sounds small, but the first draft matters.

Ask for the total compensation, growth path and manager expectations. Salary matters, but so does the environment you will live in daily. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.
