How do you know when to stop tweaking habits without fancy tools?

I tried this in Jakarta with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and therapy seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Yes, but I would approach it in a small, testable way rather than trying to solve everything at once. Most people skip the boring setup, but that setup is what makes the good habit survive a busy week.

- Start small and make the next step obvious.
- Keep notes so you can compare what worked.
- Ask someone with recent experience, not just strong opinions.

Come back with what happened; the details will make the next answer better.

That should give you a solid first pass.
