What concerts looks like when you stop optimizing everything without making it complicated

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and playlists seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

The detail that surprised me was how much a coworking table changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the routine for a while.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Music feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The delightful constraint is probably the real story. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. It sounds small, but the first draft matters.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Melbourne? My friend tried it in Nairobi and had the opposite result.
