Unpopular Opinions · by Diego García · 2026-10-09

A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made from a tiny balcony

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Unpopular Opinions feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and culture seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about glad. I keep a note about debate for exactly this reason.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

@urban_lucas That is a much better way to say it.

Beautifully concise.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. I would write it down before changing anything else.
