Wholesome · by Rohan Mehta · 2026-10-09

I changed one thing and suddenly family made sense without making it complicated

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I tried this in Lagos with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I started this because my first week felt a little stuck, and kindness seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Wholesome feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

This has cozy competence written all over it. It sounds small, but the setup matters.

Big fan of this approach. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near my desk.
