The small food habit that changed my late summer after a tiny failure
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where culture stopped feeling new.

I wish more posts had this much context. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

I do not have a strong take, but the habit detail is useful. It sounds small, but the practice run matters.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. The 2-minute rule is underrated.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. This is more useful on a tired winter than on a perfect day.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. I needed this reminder today.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

What would you change if you started over? This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I learned that one the expensive way. Small progress still counts.
