I tried doing explainers the boring way and it worked in real life

I started this because my late summer felt a little stuck, and evidence seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where evidence stopped feeling new.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. The 6-minute rule is underrated.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? My only addition is to make the first step visible.
