A gentle rant about projects and expectations on a budget

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I tried this in Kuala Lumpur with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and projects seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Great point, especially the part about projects. The late summer version is even more interesting.

Yep, the boring details matter.

Beautifully concise.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Good reminder that boring can be good. I would write it down before changing anything else. This makes me want to start a weekend project.
