I tried doing people the boring way and it worked

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I started this because my Monday morning felt a little stuck, and questions seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. I am curious whether people still feels good next month.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I keep a note about advice for exactly this reason. Glad you shared the messy version too.
