A tiny story about pasta, Jakarta and timing from my late summer notes

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I tried this in Lagos with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. film got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. The winter version is even more interesting.

That is a good boundary.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

Big fan of this approach. My friend tried it in Mexico City and had the opposite result.
