I finally understand why Music people care about artists after 30 tries

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I learned that one the expensive way.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.

Totally agree, especially for beginners.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. I learned that one the expensive way.

I wish more posts had this much context. My friend tried it in Madrid and had the opposite result.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. Sound design deserves more credit.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink music. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. That scene lives rent-free in my head.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about tries. A little friction removed goes a long way.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. I am curious whether concerts still feels good next month.

I disagree a bit. tries matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations.
