A surprisingly useful lesson from a trailhead after a tiny failure

I started this because my winter felt a little stuck, and learning seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I would write it down before changing anything else. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

Useful intention, poor execution. This is more useful on a tired rainy evening than on a perfect day.

The tiny angle is what sold me. The cozy part is easy to underestimate.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. For me it came down to the first draft. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

I think both things can be true.
