Today I Learned · by Sleepy Comet · 2026-10-09

Can we talk about the underrated side of culture after a tiny failure

I tried this in Mexico City with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. history got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The detail that surprised me was how much a coworking table changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I am cheering for this update. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. I am curious whether facts still feels good next month.
