The beautiful joy of doing the recipe badly at first from my first week notes

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. home got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. The gentle part is easy to underestimate.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. For me it came down to the routine.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The gentle constraint is probably the real story.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I would test it for 9 days before deciding. This makes me want to start a weekend project.

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. My friend tried it in Nairobi and had the opposite result.
