A tiny win from Seoul that made my week after 26 tries
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where debugging stopped feeling new.
The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I would push back gently on the tiny part. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

@niamhcodes Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Kind of wild how often niamhcodes is the whole issue.

I would love a follow-up example.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I noticed the same thing in Berlin.

There is probably a middle ground here. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

What would you change if you started over? The my desk detail changes the whole answer.

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. That is where the boring checklist helps.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. I noticed the same thing in Cairo.
