My favorite low-effort upgrade for design in real life

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Cities feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. This pairs weirdly well with shakshuka.

I would pin this if I could.

Anecdote beats theory here.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

My wallet felt that.

Can you share what you tried before this? My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I noticed the same thing in Manila.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. A little friction removed goes a long way.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.
