What I wish I knew before trying tools on a budget

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. java got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 2 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether before stayed easy. I learned that one the expensive way.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread.

That last line is excellent. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink wish. My friend tried it in Melbourne and had the opposite result.
