A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made from my lunch break notes

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I used to overcomplicate this constantly. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

@curious_lantern79 Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. I would write it down before changing anything else. Small progress still counts.

This reminds me of something a friend in Istanbul mentioned. The gentle part is easy to underestimate.
