A gentle rant about budget and expectations without making it complicated

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a neighborhood park.

I am stealing that phrase.

I would love a follow-up example.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The quiet part is easy to underestimate.

I had the same reaction to without.

This is adorable and oddly motivating.
