The thing nobody told me about java from my first week notes

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Programming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I tried this in Istanbul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. I am curious whether architecture still feels good next month. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. The 10-minute rule is underrated.
