She asked to see my Screen Time an hour into our first date

Met at a bar in Austin, things are going great, then about an hour in she goes "ok can I see your screen time." I laughed thinking it was a bit. It was not a bit. She said she's done dating guys who are on their phone 7 hours a day and it's "faster than three months of finding out."

I showed her. 4h 12m daily average, mostly Reddit and Duolingo (I'm learning Portuguese, don't judge). She nodded and showed me hers without me asking: 5h 30m, mostly TikTok. Then she said "ok so I'm the problem" and we both lost it.

We have a second date Thursday. My buddy says this is controlling behavior on day one. I think it was kind of genius? Vote please

My partner and I do screen time check ins every sunday, it started as a joke and now it's actually helped us both cut down. this could be the start of something good
